Chapter 2: I Will Drag You Out, Even If It Means Going to the Ends of the Earth!

Waking once more, she felt sore all over, weak to the point of collapse, as though every bone in her body had been taken apart and put back together again.

Yu Jin flexed her fingers and unexpectedly touched something fluffy. Startled, she opened her eyes at once.

An unfamiliar room. An unfamiliar bed. An unfamiliar man sleeping with outrageous abandon. Yu Jin had already been crowded to the edge, and his arm was still locked tightly around her.

Damn it all. She had actually been devoured and left without a trace by the crown prince.

Lying on her back, Yu Jin felt like crying without tears.

Carefully prying his arm loose, she slipped out of his embrace and bent down to gather the clothes on the floor. She could not see the burlesque costume anywhere, but that was no surprise; last night she had already been tormented into unconsciousness. How could she still remember north from south?

Thinking of that, Yu Jin grew so irritated that her chest tightened. She slapped him twice, but when he showed no reaction, her sharp eyes fell on the phone by the bedside table. Fine then. Let’s see how you like bullying an innocent young lady.

Holding his phone, Yu Jin snapped a flurry of photos of the naked man, edited an email, and sent it straight to the newspaper. Then she dressed herself and fled.

Dongfang She was awakened by an urgent ringing phone, and answered it in a foul temper. “This had better be important. Otherwise, you’ll regret ever being born!”

“Sir! Something has happened!” The voice on the other end was his chief assistant, Qin Ye. A man of exceptional ability, Qin Ye would only be thrown into such disarray if something truly major had occurred.

Dongfang She scrubbed a hand over his face and was instantly more alert. “What happened?”

“The stock price of Aier collapsed before the market closed! The board is already preparing to force you out. Just who did you offend? They even leaked your scandalous photos, and through your own phone at that! What kind of vicious trick is that? The company’s image is ruined!”

Qin Ye still had the presence of mind to tease him, but Dongfang She’s face had already darkened.

His phone soon chimed. Qin Ye had packaged the photos and sent them over. After seeing them, Dongfang She clenched his fist so hard it crackled.

That damned woman!

In the photos, he alone was naked, his body covered in scratches and lipstick marks. Even without a woman in the frame, the wanton image he presented was enough for the public to believe he had been indulging in debauchery.
