Chapter 6: The Melodramatic Reunion After Separation
At noon, with bright sunshine and a pleasant view, the pair of mother and son appeared together at First Line Sky Hotel, instantly becoming the center of attention.
The woman was dressed casually in a white knitted sweater, light denim harem pants, and a pair of canvas shoes, looking carefree and unrestrained.
Tall and slender, with delicate features and an innocent style, she looked no older than a schoolgirl who had not yet stepped into the world.
Beside her stood a little boy in a navy tailcoat, a black bow tie at his collar, his flaxen hair combed back like a little gentleman. His manners were elegant, his smile pure and harmless, and worst of all were those emerald eyes, shimmering with a beguiling allure that could steal the soul far more than any grown man’s.
He had been a little enchantment since birth; when he grew up, he would surely become a calamity to nations and people alike.
“My goodness, what an adorable little darling! And he’s mixed-race too!”
“His big sister is so beautiful as well, and so young!”
“Aaah, what do I do? The little darling is flirting with me!!” a woman cried, hearts practically flashing in her eyes, drool nearly dripping onto her high heels.
“Fire...” Yu Jin’s eye twitched. She could endure it no longer.
“Hmm? What’s wrong, Mommy?” the little treasure asked with a face full of innocence, impeccably polite as he held her hand, occasionally tossing seductive glances at the young ladies nearby.
Damn it, whose shameless, flamboyant personality did he inherit?!
“...Can you stop being such a peacock?”
It’s just a meal.
Was that really necessary?
Yu Jin was utterly speechless.

Him, a peacock? How was he a peacock? Was smiling at these aunties considered being a peacock? That was just basic manners, okay.

The waiters, upon spotting such an attractive pair, scrambled to serve them. Yet the little treasure merely waved them off and led Yu Jin to a corner of the main hall, conveniently blocked by a money tree.
He still had important business to attend to today; he absolutely could not let those aunties ruin it.
This melodramatic reunion after separation could only be directed by this precious son himself.
Ten minutes later, a stir rose at the entrance of First Line Sky Hotel. Fire’s eye twitched. As expected of G City’s number one playboy, his entrances were always this dazzling.
A wildly flamboyant Bugatti Veyron arrogantly blocked the hotel entrance. The man who stepped out from the driver’s seat had a height and bearing unmatched beneath heaven, his short fiery red hair fierce and unruly. He removed the sunglasses from his face, and with a narrowing of his alluring peach-blossom eyes, he curved them into a beautiful shape before gracefully walking around to the passenger side to open the door personally for the beauty inside.
“My God! It’s Young Master Dongfang! So handsome! And look, the woman beside him seems to be the diva Mu Keqing!”
“Wow! It looks like they’ve been together for two months already. Who would have thought Young Master Dongfang could be so devoted this time!”
